Margaret Fulton was a single mother who become a housewife superstar and changed the way Australia ate.
This joyous musical comedy premiered in Melbourne to critical acclaim - described as "ninety minutes of delectable enjoyment as lightly whipped and deliciously sweet as any of the pavlovas on display."
The musical traces Margaret's life from working in a factory during World War 2, living in the Rocks as a single mother, becoming Australia's first master chef, falling in and out of love, making a fortune and almost losing it.
The production coincides with the 50th anniversary re-release of the orginal Margaret Fulton cook book.
